What an amazing day!!! Life is so good! One day I am madder than a hornet the next I am as peaceful as a dove! What makes life so up and down? Humans with emotions! We are just crazy little beings running around trying to find our place in this big ol’ world. Just as soon as we think we have found peace and we become content with life, BAM!!!!! God throws us a curve ball! All of a sudden we find ourselves questioning every thing we have known to be true. We begin to struggle with daily tasks wondering where our peace and contentment went. Why are we faced with a new challenge? Life was simple, it was easy. So why does God ask us to take on something new? Sometimes the challenges are very hard to face. They make us question our very existence. They leave us wondering how we will ever find peace in our hearts again. God never gives us more than we can handle. God never leaves us alone to take on a challenge. The challenges are set in place to help us grow. When we get content with life we become stagnate and complacent. We become lazy and accept life to be just a daily task of functioning in a mundane ritual. We do not grow. We do not reach outside of our comfort zones. A challenge can be anything that stops you in your tracks and drops you to your knees. It makes you question weather or not you really know who you are or what you are really doing. From that you begin to question what your life is all about. You look at everyday tasks through different eyes. You begin to ‘see’ that there is something out there that you long for. It is something bigger than what you have ever known before. You are coaxed to explore new meaning to your life in ways you never thought possible! And then something wonderful happens. You discover that your peaceful life had a bigger reason to exist!!!
